Find answers to common questions and learn how Aero-Dash works
Aero-Dash is a peer-to-peer delivery platform that connects travelers (Aero-Dashers) with people and businesses who need items delivered (Shippers). Travelers earn money by carrying shipments on flights they are already taking — either by placing small items inside their spare luggage space, or by checking in a shipper's package, box, or carton as a completely separate bag in their own name (no spare suitcase space needed for this option). Shippers get fast, affordable international delivery without relying on traditional couriers.
Simply sign up for an account, verify your email and phone, complete your identity verification through Stripe, and announce your upcoming trips. When you find a shipment that matches your route, submit a quote to the shipper.
Create a shipment listing with details about your item, including photos, dimensions, and your preferred delivery dates. Aero-Dashers traveling your route will submit quotes, and you can choose the best offer. You can also contact an Aero-Dasher directly.
Yes, insurance is built into the shipping price. A fixed insurance premium covers goods up to $5,000 in value. For items worth more than $5,000, the insurance premium is automatically calculated based on the declared value and included in the total shipment cost.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Shippers provide card details when they accept a quote, and Aero-Dashers receive payment after successful delivery confirmation.
You can ship most legal items — from small parcels and documents to large boxes and full commercial cartons. Small items can travel inside an Aero-Dasher's spare luggage space. Larger items, boxes, and cartons travel as a completely separate checked bag checked in by the Aero-Dasher at the airline counter — their own suitcase space is not a factor for these shipments. Prohibited items include dangerous goods, illegal substances, weapons, and items banned by airlines. All shipments are professionally X-ray screened and tamper-sealed before the Aero-Dasher takes possession.
There are two distinct ways, depending on the size of your shipment:
Option 1 — Inside spare luggage space: For small parcels, documents, or gifts, the Aero-Dasher places your item inside their own suitcase or bag alongside their personal belongings. This works when the item is small enough to fit.
Option 2 — As a separate checked-in bag (their own suitcase space is irrelevant): For larger items — boxes, cartons, or multiple parcels — the Aero-Dasher checks in your package at the airline counter as their own additional checked bag, completely separate from their personal luggage. Their own bags can be 100% full; it makes no difference. A single Aero-Dasher can check in one or more of your packages this way, each up to the airline's standard baggage weight limit (typically 20–23 kg per bag). The package travels as a normal checked bag under the Aero-Dasher's name and is collected at the destination on your behalf.
In both cases, every package is professionally X-ray scanned, tamper-sealed, and handed over only with OTP verification at both ends.
We use Stripe Identity for secure ID verification. You'll need to provide a government-issued ID and take a selfie for verification. This helps ensure trust and safety for all users.
Yes, you can cancel a shipment before an Aero-Dasher picks it up. Once pickup has occurred, cancellations may be subject to our refund policy.
